Charlie's Home for Vets is dedicated to assisting homeless veterans, and veterans on the verge of becoming homeless by assisting them to find available housing resources in San Antonio ,
TX. We refer to apartments, and housing resources that have available housing for residents of San Antonio. We do not provide housing at this time to veterans. No veteran that fought for our country should be deprived of a piece of the land that they fought for. 37,252 veterans experienced homelessness in January 2020, compared to 37,085 in January 2019. We must keep up our relentless outreach to veterans in need . We collaborate with veteran service organizations in San Antonio, employers and community-based entities to house, employ, and serve veterans that are experiencing homelessness.

Sponsor a veteran or a military family to ensure that they have food and water for themselves, and their families. Your donation will assist a veteran that is experiencing homelessness.

Learn about educational courses on financial literacy, anger management, mental health outreach, CPR, and get referrals to organizations that assist active-duty military and veterans in our community.

Proud Daughter of An Army Veteran
Charlie's Home For Vets is owned by the daughter of an Army veteran, and offers assistance to active-duty military, homeless veterans, and underserved communities. We are dedicated to assisting those who served our country. We assist veterans to find housing arrangements that are beneficial. We also place in rental properties, personal care facilities, memory care facilities, and shared room rental spaces. Assistance is also available in regards to locating caregivers, transitioning back into the workforce, resume building, and purchasing a home. Food, clothing, shoes, and hygiene items are provided to veterans that are in need when resources are available..
Charlie's Home For Vets partners with The Jacqueline Smith Foundation which offers Free Financial Literacy Classes, Navigation of Veteran
Resources Classes, and Mental Health Outreach Programs that addresses PTSD, grief, death and dying. Through our community partners at JSF, veterans are offered VA homebuyers seminars and support groups. We are here to serve those who served our country. No veteran that fought for our country should be homeless or without resources.
